Why We Started iCanTutoring
iCanTutoring was started because too many students were being overlooked, and too many others were not being pushed far enough.
Over the years, we saw the same pattern again and again: capable students falling behind because they were misunderstood or unsupported, while high-ability students coasted, unchallenged and underachieving in exams despite their potential. Either way, we wanted to make a difference.
iCanTutoring was built on a clear conviction that every student can make strong, measurable progress when teaching is done properly, with clarity, structure, precision, and genuine care.
We are unapologetically focused on outcomes. Grades matter. Exam technique matters. Progress matters. We teach students how to think, how to write, and how to approach exam questions with confidence and accuracy. Some students build confidence first and see their grades rise as a result; others arrive already strong and are pushed further through sharper analysis, higher-level thinking, and disciplined exam practice.
Special educational needs are not an add-on here. SEN support is central to what we do. We specialise in adaptive, intelligent teaching that meets students where they are and moves them forward securely. Students who arrive behind catch up. Students on grade boundaries break through them. Students aiming for the highest grades are stretched and refined.
