Live, in a group of four

Week one, we find your marks

Most people who just missed a 4 are only ten to fifteen marks off it. In your first session your teacher sits with you, goes through a real paper, and builds your own mark map. You will see where your marks are going, and the handful of fixable things between you and a pass.

We build your map from your own work, not a number we guessed at.

What you get

You get two 75-minute live sessions a week for nine weeks. The course starts Tuesday 1 September and finishes before the November resit.

Two 75-minute live sessions a week in a small group

Never more than four of you. Pods run in the evening, Monday to Friday, in one of two time slots: 5:30 to 6:45pm or 6:45 to 8:00pm. We place you in the pod that fits you best, and confirm your two evenings when you enrol.

Two full mocks and your diagnostic, marked by your teacher

Real practice under exam conditions, with proper feedback on what to fix next.

Your own mark map

It updates as you go, so you always know your next few marks.

iCan Study to practise on

Your own login, to keep going between sessions whenever you want.

How it works

1

Before you start

The diagnostic

  • Before week one, we sit you through a real paper and watch how you work, not just what you score.
  • That shows us where your marks are slipping, and why, under real exam pressure.
  • Then we place you in a pod with other students who need the same things you do.
2

Over the nine weeks

Targeted to you

  • The whole course is built around what is costing you marks.
  • Your group works on the things that actually apply to you, never a generic checklist.
  • We tackle them in the order that wins your marks back fastest.
3

Along the way

Mocks and feedback

  • You sit two full mocks on top of your diagnostic.
  • Both come back marked with proper feedback.
  • We bring that feedback straight into your sessions.
  • You also get homework between sessions to keep the work going.
Included

Your iCan Study app comes with the course

Every place includes full access to the iCan Study app for all nine weeks. You use it to practise between sessions, get your answers marked straight away, and see where your marks are going.

Who teaches it

Our qualified, DBS-checked tutors. Every group has its own teacher, qualified and background-checked, trained by us to know the resit inside out and to be good with students who find exams hard. They teach you live, twice a week, and they get to know you.

The honest bits

How does it actually work?
Two live sessions a week with your teacher, in a group of no more than four. You get iCan Study to practise on in between, and your teacher marks your mocks and tells you what to fix.
Is my child safe online?
Yes. Every tutor holds an enhanced DBS check and Level 3 safeguarding training, and we follow a full safeguarding policy. You complete a short consent form when you enrol, and you always know who is teaching your child.
Do I book the November exam?
Yes, you book your own November exam at a centre near you. If your child is still at a college, it is usually free there. We keep our focus on getting them the marks.
Can you promise me a grade 4?
No one honest can. What we can promise is that you will know exactly what to fix, and a teacher in your corner the whole way. Most of the gap is a handful of fixable things.
What if I miss a session?
You will not fall behind. The group is small, we catch you up, and you can keep practising on iCan Study.
It is only a few days after results. Is this too soon?
We start the Monday after the bank holiday, so you get a breather first. Reserving now just saves your place until we speak.
